CREW SERVED MACHINE GUN MATCH The match is for light, medium and heavy machine guns, which fire rifle caliber ammo and are designed for sustained fire by a crew of two or three. Each gun entered in the competition must weigh at least 15 pounds unloaded. No assault rifles, submachine guns or .50 caliber guns will be allowed. Three man crews must be equipped with a tripod and a crew consisting of a gunner, an assistant gunner and a spotter. The gunner and assistant will manage the operation and firing of the gun while the spotter will use binoculars to call out targets and firing correction. Three man crews must bring a minimum of 300 rounds to the firing line, loaded and ready to fire (no loose ammo) Two man crews will serve with a bipod mounted gun which must be fired from the prone position. The assistant gunner will need binoculars to spot for the gunner, while assisting in manning and reloading the gun. Two man crews will be required to advance to the line carrying no less than 200 rounds of ready to fire ammo. Registration begins at 8 am, mandatory safety meeting and walk through at 8:30 am and the match begins at 9 am. Entry fee is $20 for members, $30 for non member. Entry fee is per gun/crew and NOT for each crew member. However, all crew members must register and attend safety meeting. Spectators Free and always welcome!
